Gorgeous book, great recipes, - good enough to make my cooking attempts edible . . . . almost!!A well-received gift, - I look forward to getting through all the recipes. .
BEHIND the HALF DOOR is really a coffee table book to be enjoyed by friends and not stored on a shelf with other cookbooks. The photographs are wonderful and stories extremely interesting. It reminded me of M.F.K. Fisher and Julia Child.I highly recommend the Crab Cakes w Paoched Eggs,Poached Salmon w Coconut and Pork Tenderloin w Pear & Pistachio.
