Meadows and Byrne

Meadows and Byrne reached out to me last week to ask how to best get through the cold winter weather in Ireland at the moment. Luckily, I do not have this problem basking in the Sydney sunshine! However, I was back in Ireland over Christmas and know all too well how it feels to be snug by the fire and never want to leave! It is a season for rich, hot comfort foods for sure.

And Behind the Half Door is full to the brim of these! So I have rounded up my top 6 dishes in the book for Meadows and Byrne to keep their readers warm and satisfied. The dishes include:

ROSEMARY, RICOTTA + honeycomb HOTCAKES

SEAFOOD STEW with MA’S fluffy DUMPLINGS

best-ever LEMON SPAGHETTI

creamy CORN with CHEESE + POLENTA

Smokey Joe

Nell’s Apple Tart
